Set in the rolling hills around Onneley, the clients run a busy dairy farm.  The private garden overlooks the main cattle shed and the fields beyond, and the owners wanted a space filled with flowers for relaxing and entertaining.

The main focus was on the south east facing area of the garden and the steps leading up to the house and the main patio area. There is a large area at the rear of the house, shaded by a row of poplar trees, where we have planted a small arboretum, featuring a wide variety of new trees, chosen for their colour, form and seasonal interest.
