The house at this property is set into the side of a steep hill, which provided some challenges in designing and building this garden.  

We proposed a terraced garden to enable access to all areas of the space.

Previously, trees covered the slopes above the house which created alot of shade and leaf fall.

The clients wanted a space that they could access from the cars below, to entertain in, and be surrounded with flower beds filled with mediterranean planting that can be easily maintained.

The arches along the main walkway provides an anchor to the garden, and stops the walker feeling unstable as the progress through the terraced slope.
